Roberta Chirella History

From a young age, Roberta Chiarella showed promise as a fashion jewelry designer. She began with a design apprenticeship under her father, Joseph Chiarella, who was a successful advertising art director and illustrator. She then attended and graduated from Parson’s School of Design in New York City.

Her career began as an art director, producer and package designer at Clinique Laboratories, then evolved into the L’Oreak Fragrance Division, where she oversaw top brands like Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, and Paloma Picasso.

An exhibit in The American Craft Museum transformed her from creative director to fashion jewelry designer later in her life. Her pieces have been featured on television shows like “The Wendy Williams Show,” “Entertainment Tonight,” “Millionaire Matchmaker,” “Deal or No Deal,” “The View,” and “Sex and The City.”

Magazine credits include Allure, Ebony, Cosmopolitan, Family Circle, InStyle, Health, InTouch, Latina, Life & Style, Marie Claire, OK, Oprah, Seventeen, US Weekly, Vogue, Women’s Health, Women’s Day, and Your Wedding Day.
